Just show up
Today's post will be a bit of a copout and a bit of a showcase for my contingency strategy.
For the last couple of weeks I haven't been feeling like writing my weekly post. I've done it, but I haven't been looking forward to it. I've just forced myself to do it. I've been super focused on coding. I'd much rather spend my time writing code than writing prose.
But I made the commitment to write weekly and I still think that commitment can bring the benefits I'm looking for. Whenever I find myself feeling a lack of motivation for this project, I'll just focus on showing up.

I don't have a reason to think that my motivation and inspiration will grow. As I mention, I'd rather be coding. To make everything more aligned, I think I'm going to focus my writing on whatever technical topic I'm studying that week. I'm already doing a bit of that by logging my notes in journey-to-fullstack, but I'll use these posts to riff on something a bit more.
